Commercial Kitchen is a truly national show and will take place at the NEC, Birmingham. This iconic venue is easily accessible by road, rail and air and features the best infrastructure facilities of any of the major venues in the UK.

Travelling by rail

The NEC is right next to Birmingham International rail station. The NEC entrance is on the right hand side as you exit the station, and clearly signposted.

Many services run direct to Birmingham International. If yours doesn’t, you can catch a connecting train at Birmingham New Street. There are regular services, and the journey only takes 10-15 minutes. Travelling by car

The NEC is in the perfect location for car travel – 8 miles east of Birmingham city centre, and at the heart of the UK motorway network. The postcode is B40 1NT.  Commercial Kitchen is located in Hall 8.

With 16,500 spaces available, just follow the electronic signage or directions provided by the traffic team to get you to the right car park area. Once you’ve parked you can either take a free shuttle bus or walk to the halls using the sign posted footpaths. Parking is £12 per day.  Find out more.

Travelling by air

The NEC is just minutes away from Birmingham Airport (BHX).  From the airport, simply take the free and fast Air-Rail Link to Birmingham International railway station and then it’s just a short walk to the entrance. The Air-Rail Link runs every 2 minutes and takes just 90 seconds to reach the NEC. It leaves the airport from the upper level of Terminal 1, and operates daily between 0515am and 0200am.  Birmingham Airport.

By Bus & Coach

Coach services are operated by National Express and Megabus, with over 120 daily services from acorss the UK to Birmingham Airport.  From here you can get to the NEC in minutes on the free air-rail link. National Express.

Regular local buses depart from Birmingham City Centre.  The 900 service runs every 15 mins during the day taking approximately 30 mins. The 97 service operates every 30 mins, 24hrs a day taking approximately 45 mins.

Local bus services also run every 30 mins throughout the day to Solihull (service 966) and Coventry (service 900).  Network West Midlands.

What is Commercial Kitchen?

Commercial Kitchen is the UK’s only dedicated event for catering equipment buyers. Whether you’re a decision maker from a chain or independent pub or restaurant, a food-to-go multiple or a hotel, to a school, hospital or care home – you can see and compare the latest equipment at the UK’s only show dedicated to the running of effective, profitable kitchens.

When is the show?

Tuesday 4th June 2019 – 10am – 5.00pm
Wednesday 5th June 2019 – 10am – 4.30pm

Last entry is 1 hour before show closes.

Where is Commercial Kitchen?

Who can attend?

Commercial Kitchen is a trade only event and is not open to the general public. Admission is restricted to professional persons working in the foodservice industry. Proof of trade status may be requested.

Can students attend?

No, students are not permitted to attend.

Can I bring my children?

No. This is a business event and entry is restricted to those people working in the industry.

How much does it cost to attend?

Admission to Commercial Kitchen is free to visitors who register in advance. For those that haven’t pre-registered, an entry charge of £20 will apply on the door.

When will I receive my visitor badge?

Once registered you will receive an email confirmation with a link to your e-badge. Simply click on the link to download your ticket, print it out and bring it with you to the show. Your badge will allow you entry to the event on both days.

What if I lose my e-badge / badge confirmation email?

As long as you have registered you will be able to collect your badge onsite. Just ask one of the staff in the registration area and they will assist you. We will also send a badge reminder email a week before the show to all those registered to ensure they have their badge handy.

Does my badge enable me to return to the show on another day or would I need to register again?

Your badge will be valid on both days of the show.
